Since its inception in the UAE in the early 1990s, Byrne Equipment Rental has grown to become one of the largest plant and equipment rental companies in the Middle East. With 20 operational bases covering the GCC we have a fleet of over 14,000 items of plant and a team of over 1,500 people serving multiple industries.

For the oil and gas sector, the company’s strategy has developed over the years to meet the more exacting demands of the wider industry covering upstream, mid-stream and downstream sectors. In recent years we have driven a growth initiative in our business by adding a suite of oil and gas centric equipment to our rental fleets, including our more recent focus on the provision of Hoist & Access and Climate Control solutions.

“We believe the oil and gas industry is not fully served by the equipment rental and lease sector mainly due to the shortage of rental companies that can meet the equipment and service level expectations of the industry - that’s the gap Byrne is ready to fill. Our objective is to fully understand our client’s equipment needs and to respond to these by developing viable rental and lease solutions,” said Pat Fallon, Group COO at Byrne.

This year at ADIPEC, Byrne will be focusing on a variety of equipment; it’s range of DNV 2.7-1 Cargo Containers, LMF compressors and Hoist & Access fleet from its trusted supply partners Power Towers and Genie.

Managing Director of Genie in the Middle East, Sharbel Kordahi says: “This year, quite a few innovations were launched in Europe and I feel ADIPEC is a perfect platform to make our mark in the sector for this region. Our range of Genie® Xtra Capacity™ (XC) boom lifts are built for tasks requiring higher lifting capacities. Also, our Z45FE, from the hybrid range, is for tasks demanding low noise, emissions and high standards. These are just some of the many in our offering for the oil and gas sector.”

Byrne will also be showcasing modular building solutions from sister company Spacemaker, with a focus on RigSpace. RigSpace is a range of robust, skid mounted units, engineered by a team of in-house specialists with hands on oil and gas experience. “We are enthusiastic to be showcasing one of the actual units on our stand as this enables us to truly demonstrate the capability and quality of this unique product,” added Fallon.

Byrne said that ADIPEC presents a number of opportunities for the company and this is why it continues to exhibit and look forward to the event every year. “It is an opportunity to network with both existing and new clients, both protecting our market share as well as driving new business growth and opportunities and generating qualified leads. It also presents the opportunity to connect with other exhibiting companies in the industry where we can gain insight into the latest trends and technologies dominating the industry,” Byrne’s Fallon said.
