Successful Chemical Plant Shutdown

Our client operates one of Saudi Arabia’s largest chemical plants comprising some 26 integrated manufacturing plants. The isocyanate plant produces polyurethane polymers, which are components of polyurethane foams, thermoplastic elastomers, spandex fibers, and polyurethane paints with capacity of over three million metric tons per year.
The plant scheduled a shutdown between July and August 2018, during which Byrne's Saudi-based specialist industrial plant team worked closely with the plant and their service contractors supplying a wide range of rental equipment including temporary buildings, access equipment, power generation, lighting and items of operated plant, to meet the exacting nature of the shutdown, while keeping downtime to a minimum, and ensuring the shutdown was completed on schedule.
