Byrne Equipment Rental is Supplier to and Patron of the Annual Professional Golf Tournaments

The equipment and services to be provided will cover the entire tournament site, and will include power generation and secondary power distribution along with several kilometres of cabling, lighting towers, ticket offices, marshals’ cabins, temporary offices, a mosque, and high quality toilet facilities.

For the annual tournament Byrne will provide over 5,000 square metres of temporary buildings, including bespoke sponsorship hospitality lounges, the European Tour offices, restaurants, catering areas, and retail space.

Byrne’s thirteen year long history of supporting the Omega Dubai Desert Classic and Omega Dubai Ladies Classic is due to the quality and size of the rental fleet, and versatility of the equipment and services supplied.

After last years’ tournament, Mohamed Juma Buamaim, honorary president of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic and Omega Dubai Ladies Classic thanked Byrne saying:

“The temporary hospitality areas supplied have a feel of anything but temporary, they look and perform like permanent structures and are fitted out to the highest standards. The number of sponsors and players who comment positively on the quality of what we provide, or who don’t even realise it is temporary, is testament to this.”

“In addition we receive a huge amount of logistical support from Byrne through their project team, such as the provision of the floating pontoon, where a Mercedes GL500 is placed during our tournaments, the setting up of our sponsor branding, managing a host of sub-contractors and responding to our many other operational requirements on a daily basis”, he added.

Site set up for the tournament commenced in October 2017 with the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic taking place from 6-9 December 2017, and the Omega Dubai Desert Classic due to take place from 25-28 January 2018 at Emirates Golf Club, Dubai, UAE.
