Women in the Driver’s Seat
On 19 October 2018 Byrne will be helping to make history at the Yalla Banat women’s driving event at the Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain. Byrne is proud to be involved in the historical day by participating in the all women car parade.
Yalla Banat, under the historical backdrop of empowering women to drive within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will be connecting women from across the region to celebrate this momentous achievement in Bahrain by bringing together women leaders from the corporate, educational, sporting and charity sectors together all with an objective to share, inspire and empower women.
The Yalla Banat event is a forum created for women across the Middle East to network and share success stories with top female leaders and innovators, aiming to inspire the next generation of women achievers. It’s also set to be a fun day for the whole family to enjoy Bahrain International Circuit’s finest activities.
The day will include the longest all women car parade in Bahrain and we’re excited that a representative of the Byrne team will be participating! She will drive one of the 250 cars which are to line up on the F1 Outer Circuit Track and then follow the Race Control Car round the track for two laps. Our driver will be behind the wheel of one of Byrne’s branded service cars.
The day long event, as well as the all female round table discussion and car parade, will include a Red Bull Drifting Show.
