Our hazardous cargo container provides secure storage and transportation for hazardous products such as chemicals, oils, and paints.
A built-in floor catchment sump with galvanised grating floor provides containment for any possible hazardous product fluid loss from a carrier or drum receptacle.
The hazardous cargo container has both front large double concertinaed doors and end double doors allowing easy loading and unloading options. Three IBCs can be securely stored, with tie-in points both at floor and roof levels ensuring load security.
The hazardous cargo container meets with the offshore Oil & Gas industry recognised design and build standards of DNV 2.7-1 and EN12079 certification.
Other features including lighting, an eye wash treatment station and safety markings, stacking capability, forklift pockets and a sling and shackle set to allow a choice of handling equipment.
Our DNV 2.7-1 store containers are an ideal solution for the storage and protection of heat perishable cargo such as fresh food, dry food or liquids.
The store container is AC climate controlled and when used together with our reefer and/or kitchen containers it provides a complete solution for the storage and temperature control for preparation of all food produce.
The store container can also be used for storing other heat affected perishable products such as oil, paint and chemicals.

Byrne’s rental fleet of DNV2.7-1 refrigerated containers (reefers) are an ideal solution for the storage and transportation of food and other products where either a chilled or frozen temperature is required.
Reefers are available in a range of sizes including 6ft, 10ft and 20ft options with a dual compartment fridge and freezer arrangement offering multi-use functionality. An ISO / CSC 40ft reefer option is also available.
Reefer containers can be powered by the vessel, rig or platform’s electrical supply, or we can provide the reefer unit with our clip-on generator pre-installed.
Reefers are stackable to minimise deck area usage where multiple reefers are required. Multi-leg sling and shackle set are fitted as standard.

Used for plant maintenance, TAR/shutdowns, site construction and new build projects, every six months all lifting equipment goes through a full strip down and inspection of every component and includes cleaning, blasting and re-painting of component parts before the assembled item is third party inspected and re-certified.
